‘Tower of Nottingham’ formed part of Allchurch’s solo exhibition at Djanogly Art Gallery, Nottingham in 2015. Taking inspiration for the design from her Tower of Babel images, the construction, fabricated by Joshua Lockwood at Djanogly, was used to display the artworks produced in workshops led by the artist with local community groups, exploring the role of the urban environment in their lives, and their specific responses to the city of Nottingham.
The workshops were funded by Arts Council England.
