Link: 20 Years Together (2025) – A commissioned artwork celebrating 20 Years of Link Asset Management (2005-2025)
Having had the opportunity to visit and extensively photograph Link sites and their surrounding locations in Hong Kong in November 2024, I gained a real sense of their vital and integral role within the community. My artwork, marking Link Asset Management’s 20th anniversary, has been meticulously assembled as a digital collage from the thousands of photographs I took, to emphasise this sense of connection that serves the needs of the local population, and celebrates the places where people live, shop and socialise.
The composition presents a colourful, verdant and dynamic ‘hill town’, consisting of 12 of Link’s iconic place-making projects, as well as nearby local landmarks, with sweeping roads and bridges joining this constructed conurbation to the landscape around it. Framed by trees, residential housing, and the mountainous backdrop of Lion Rock, Kowloon Peak and High Junk Peak, the scene is bustling with people going about their daily lives and interacting with the built environment.
