Curated, led and envisioned by Marisa Yiu (Design Trust HK Co-Founder, Lead Curator / Executive Director) with Zheng Zhou (Head of Programmes / Associate Curator), and celebrating Hong Kong’s architectural and natural landscape, unique architectural buildings from 1980s Central district, the iconic Peak Tram, to the best of Hong Kong’s creative community of designers, architects and artist, ‘The Art of Movement’ exhibition included works donated by Emily Allchurch and Karin Weber Gallery (‘Towers of Babel Hong Kong’ 2024), Henry Steiner, Wilson Shieh and JPS Gallery, Ma Yansong, William Lim, Xinjian Lu and DE SARTHE, Dony Cheng and GALLERY EXIT, Agnese Guido and Song Hyeong-Noh, Xie Lei and Sies + Höke Galerie, Eason Tsang, Michael Wolf and Flowers Gallery.
The live auction took place on the evening of Friday, March 20th 2026, with the exhibition at the St. John’s Building, Central continuing until Sunday 12th April 2026. All proceeds of the auction go towards the Design Trust’s programme to support and stimulate the positive process of design through project based grants, creative sharing and engaging communities in the greater Bay area and internationally. For example the Design Trust Impact Grant initiatives including Open House Hong Kong and Inter-island Festival exploring the rich local culture and heritage and DESIGN TRUST FUTURES STUDIO Greater Bay Area programme: “Nature is Nurture is Nature” for the regional mentor-menteeship community.
